Trivikram Srinivas, often credited with the pen name “Trivikram”, is a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry. Born as Akella Naga Srinivasa Sarma on 7 November 1971 in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, he is one of the highest-paid directors in South Indian cinema.
With a master’s degree in Nuclear physics, Trivikram initially had no intentions of entering the entertainment world. However, his passion for Telugu literature and films led him to become a screenwriter and eventually a director.
He is fondly referred to as “Maatala Maantrikudu” (Wizard of Words) and “Guruji” (The Master) by the Telugu audience.
In 2000, Trivikram penned the dialogues for the movie “Nuvve Kavali”, which clinched the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. His directorial debut, “Nuvve Nuvve” in 2002, earned him the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film (Silver).
Over the years, he has been associated with notable films like “Swayamvaram” (1999), “Chiru Navvutho” (2000), “Nuvvu Naaku Nachav” (2001), “Manmadhudu” (2002), and “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo” (2020).
