Rashmika Mandanna, a name that has become synonymous with the South Indian film industry, has been captivating audiences with her performances since her debut. Born on 5th April 1996 in Virajpet, Karnataka, Rashmika embarked on her cinematic journey in 2016 with the Kannada film “Kirik Party”.

Rashmika’s entry into the world of cinema was nothing short of spectacular. Her debut film, “Kirik Party”, not only became one of the highest-grossing films of that year in Kannada but also earned her the SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actress.

The film, which revolved around the life of engineering students, saw Rashmika playing the role of Saanvi Joseph, a character that became immensely popular among the youth.

While “Kirik Party” was her stepping stone, Rashmika didn’t stop there. She continued to work in both Telugu and Kannada films, showcasing her versatility as an actress. Rashmika was born into a Kodava family in Karnataka. She completed her early education in Coorg and later pursued a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature from M. S. Ramaiah College in Bangalore.

Apart from her professional achievements, Rashmika’s personal life has also been in the limelight. She was engaged to her co-star Rakshit Shetty, whom she met during the making of “Kirik Party”. However, the couple later called off their engagement due to personal reasons.
